Privacy Policy

This policy explains what iRoomDesign ("we", "us") collects when you use iroomdesign.com, how we use it, how long we keep it and how you can delete it. If you have a question, email us at hello@iroomdesign.com.

What we collect

• Account information. Your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We keep a record of your sign-in sessions, including IP address, approximate country and browser type, to keep your account secure.
• Your photos and designs. The room photos and reference photos you upload, the designs we generate from them, and the options you chose (room type, style and mode).
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We keep a record of your purchases, subscription status and credit balance.
• Usage data. Pages you visit and actions you take on the site (for example, uploading a photo or opening the pricing page), linked to your account if you are signed in, plus your approximate country.
• Analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics that count visits without cookies and do not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies; see our Cookie Policy.

How we use your photos

• Your photos are used only to create the designs you ask for.
• To generate a design, the photo (and any reference photo) is sent to our AI image provider, which processes it and returns the result.
• We do not sell your photos or designs, and we do not use them to train AI models.
• Your photos and designs are not shown publicly. A design is only visible to others if you create a share link for it yourself.

How long we keep your data

• Uploaded photos (room photos and reference photos) are deleted automatically 15 days after upload.
• Generated designs are deleted automatically 90 days after they are created. Download any design you want to keep.
• Automatic deletion runs daily, so a file may remain for up to about a day after its deadline.
• Account information, purchase records and the list of your designs (without the images) are kept while your account exists.

Deleting your data

• Delete a design at any time from My Designs. This deletes the design image, the photos you uploaded for it, and its record. If another of your designs still uses the same uploaded photo, that photo is kept until it expires automatically.
• Delete your account at any time in Settings. This deletes your account, your designs and uploaded photos, your current profile picture if you uploaded one, and the usage history linked to your account. Any photo or design we cannot remove right away is removed by the automatic deletion described above.
• Some copies may remain for a limited time after deletion: in our database host's backups, and with our AI image generation provider, which may keep a temporary copy of each generated image under its own terms.
• Payment records held by Stripe are kept as required by tax and financial law.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers that run the service for us:

• Cloud hosting and storage: hosts the website, stores your photos and designs, and protects the site from bots
• Database hosting: stores your account and design records
• AI image generation provider: receives the photos needed to create your design, so it can process them and return the result
• Payment processor (Stripe): handles payments
• Sign-in provider (Sign in with Google): if you choose to sign in with Google
• Privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics: counts visits
• Email delivery provider: sends account emails, such as email verification and password reset

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or ask a question about how we handle it, by emailing hello@iroomdesign.com. You can also delete designs and your account yourself at any time, as described above. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

iRoomDesign is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will let you know on the site or by email.
